Organic Farming
No synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. Our spices are grown using traditional organic methods that have sustained the land for generations.

The finest spices can only come from a healthy planet. That's why sustainability isn't just a practice for us, it's a principle that guides every decision we make.
Our Commitment
No synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. Our spices are grown using traditional organic methods that have sustained the land for generations.
Fair wages, safe conditions, and community investment. Our farmers earn 30% above market rate for their premium-quality harvests.
100% biodegradable and plastic-free. Every package, label, and seal is designed to return safely to the earth.
We offset all shipping emissions through reforestation projects in Sri Lanka. Your order plants trees, not just spices.
We are committed to delivering only the highest quality spices and teas to our customers. We ensure that our products meet international quality standards and undergo thorough quality control measures at every stage of the supply chain.
We are dedicated to promoting sustainable practices in our sourcing and manufacturing processes. We prioritize partnerships with farmers who follow sustainable farming practices, protect biodiversity, and engage in fair trade.
We embrace innovation and continuously seek to improve our products and processes. We invest in research and development to bring new flavours, blends, and packaging solutions to the market, providing our customers with exciting options.
Our ultimate goal is to satisfy our customers' needs and preferences. We prioritise customer feedback and continually improve our products and services to meet their expectations. We value long-term relationships with our customers and aim to exceed their satisfaction through prompt communication, efficient delivery, and personalised service.
We prioritise the health and well-being of our customers. We carefully select and promote spices and teas that are known for their nutritional benefits. Additionally, we prioritise environmentally sustainable packaging options to minimise waste and protect the planet.

Pure by Nature
Our farmers have never used synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilizers. They don't need to. Generations of knowledge have taught them how to work with nature, not against it.
Companion planting, natural pest control, and traditional composting keep our spice gardens thriving. The result? Spices that are not only better for you but taste noticeably more vibrant.
Every product carries USDA Organic and EU Organic certification, verified proof that what reaches your kitchen is pure, natural, and free from harmful chemicals.

People Before Profit
We believe that sustainable agriculture must sustain the people who practice it. That's why we pay our farming partners 30% above market rate for their harvests.
But fair trade means more than fair prices. We invest in our communities, building schools, providing healthcare, and ensuring safe working conditions for everyone involved in our supply chain.
When you buy Gralgo spices, you're directly supporting 500+ farming families who have dedicated their lives to this craft.

Plastic-Free Promise
In 2020, we made a commitment: zero plastic in our packaging. Today, every element of our packaging, from boxes to labels to tape, is 100% biodegradable.
Our spice containers are made from recycled paper and plant-based materials. Our shipping boxes use soy-based inks. Even our packing material is made from recycled cardboard.
When you're done, simply compost our packaging or recycle it. Within months, it returns to the earth, leaving nothing behind.

Beyond Carbon Neutral
Getting spices from Sri Lanka to your door requires transportation. We can't change that, but we can offset it and then some.
For every order shipped, we plant trees in Sri Lanka through our reforestation partners. Last year alone, we planted over 10,000 trees, creating new habitat and absorbing more carbon than our operations produce.
This isn't just offsetting, it's actively regenerating the ecosystem that makes our spices possible.

Looking Ahead
Sustainability is a journey, not a destination. We're constantly working to reduce our impact and increase our positive contributions.
By 2030, we aim to: achieve water neutrality across all farming operations, establish our own organic fertilizer production using farm waste, expand our farmer partnership program to 1,000 families, and plant 100,000 trees across Sri Lanka.
These aren't just goals, they're commitments. And we'll report our progress publicly every year.
